SCLN is into bio-tech, China based.

SIMO develops and manufactures embedded graphics, digital signal processing, and multimedia companion chips

Both seem to have good upswing potential with strong fundamentals and
high interest from hedge funds (esp. SCLN)

Apple is the innovative genius, no doubt.

Mr Cook has harnessed the supply chains and stream lined it well.

is making to sense Asian antipathy for Apple and that does not bode well.

Apple needs to be careful in picking its battles and i really hope it does so.
The OSX Lion can fight a bison for sure but should be careful in not waking up
the herd to get trampled upon in a stampede.

Apple is a great company, however Samsung/Sony are relentless guys and to add to the irony
Apple's key component suppilers. (atleast one of them)
