 ### Side Effects of Ozempic


Ozempic (semaglutide) is a medication used to treat type 2 diabetes. Like any medication, it can cause side effects. The most common side effects of Ozempic include:


- Nausea

- Diarrhea

- Stomach (abdominal) pain

- Vomiting

- Constipation[1][2][3]


In addition to these common side effects, there are other potential adverse reactions associated with Ozempic, such as:


- Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar)

- Agitation, irritability, or abnormal behaviors

- Pancreatitis (swelling of the pancreas)

- Gallbladder problems

- Diabetic retinopathy

- Suicidal thoughts or tendencies[2][3]


Less common but more serious side effects may include pancreatitis, gastroparesis, bowel obstruction, gallstone attacks, and bile duct blockage. It is essential to seek medical attention if experiencing severe symptoms like severe vomiting and diarrhea, severe abdominal pain, or jaundice.[5]
